Automatic Validation helps loss adjusters to focus their time and specialist knowledge on the central and critical elements of the report while receiving help with those parts that can be automated. The system helps loss adjusters find errors and focus more on reports where their time will really count, reducing the average claim.
Automatic Validation also helps craftsmen. Sometimes busy craftspeople forget to attach pictures, don’t use the agreement on materials, or use an incorrect price agreement. Automatic Validation lets them know right away that there are issues with their upload. This helps to maintain momentum during the claims process, ensuring that the repair is not delayed for three or four days waiting for a reply. The craftsmen can correct errors immediately, which benefits the loss adjuster and the claimant who wants the damage repaired as quickly as possible.
An underlying rule engine
All rules in Automatic Validation are defined according to the insurance company’s specific business rules. The insurance company has access to the rule engine and can continuously configure new rules and fine-tune existing rules. Automatic Validation has just been optimised in order to be used for MEPS calculations. Since 2009, Automatic Validation has run auto-reports and validated more than two million reports on systems such as Audatex, Cabas and DBS.
